Faeries

I was looking for a sign. My next step. Wondering where it would come from.

Today, they came back home.

A lovely visit with SG Michelle, my totally intuitive and hotCHI healer, and she had them waiting for me. All wrapped in a box with a book.

I was so excited, I gently fingered the box on my way home.

I looked at them longingly. It has been a while.

I had let them go - passed them forward - thinking instead of feeling my truth about them.

And here they are again. They found me - again.

In my yoga studio, I open the box and they come spilling out - the fairies, the Topsy-Turvies, the Ogres, the helpers and guardians, the lovers and guides.

Having them in my hands again - it's like an old love - so familiar and yet so new.

The book jumps open to fairy dancing -

"we follow our intuitive knowing and inner rhythm.

We let our breath, bones and muscles guide us.
Our hearts can sense the dance even

when our minds don't know it."

So true and how often I forget. The energy dance of my body. The sacred breath. Letting myself be the movement. Swaying. Woohoo.

"Letting go of conscious control.

Dancing from the sacral center,

movement of the pelvis,

because that is our connection

with magic and power."

My card, my guide, my fairy today - HE of the Fairy Sword, upside down.

Meaning: How may I free strength and will in my life and allow the vital force to flow through?

Oh yes, my Goddess - let me dream and meditate and gravitate to that ha happy place where I know.

HA HA Again

I showed up today to LAUGH
I was so ready - it's been three weeks
21 days since I have practiced my HA HA Muscle

Today's class is being led by Sister Goddess Maria Lourdes
SG Maria Lourdes is an OMazing woman.
She introduced me to Drag It Out and inspired me with her draguation.
And then she got certified as a Laughter Yoga Leader - woohoo

We are a small group in this heat - 92 degrees at 8:45 a.m. - woohoo
We are 4 LAUGHter ambassadors - revving up our engines
and laughing around the park
We shake and jump about and hug and laugh
It is gentle and loving in a safe and sacred space

Just what the doctor ordered

and opening your heart and holding me

Wynwood Art Fair

SG Antonia (a talented Performing Artiste and Curator of the Fair) invited me to start the May 18, 2011 press conference announcing the First Annual Wynwood Art Fair benefiting Lotus House. Woohoo.

SG Constance (President of the Lotus House) introduced the curators of the Museum and the important peeps who are making this event happen and then she introduced me. My job was to get the press and the dignitaries to destress from fighting traffic to get there and loosen up so we present this OMazing concept of not just seeing art but being Art in this wonderful Art Fair that will happen during three days in October in the streets of Miami. Woohoo.

WSM Djordje was kind enough to meet me and take pictures as I HA HA HO HO with the press, media and Mayor of Miami, Tomas Regalado. We did some breathing and some stretching and some laughing. Woohoo. I made a movie of my experience -

Laughter as Performance Art

Last October, we were blessed to be invited to be part of the Heart Happening benefit for Lotus House Women's Shelter at the Margulies Warehouse - Laughter Yoga transformed into Performance Art and became Laughter Parties.

We have been blessed to be invited again performing Laughter Parties - woohoo - this year, the event has morphed into a 3 day Street Art Happening - the first annual Wynwood Art Fair - don't just see art - BE it.

I love Thursday night Laughter Circles. Especially in the summer.

This is when I get to see those who LAUGH out LOUD no matter what.

Sweaty, hot and humid - these are hard core total discipline LAUGHers.

This is a tribute to my strong and steadfast - my 3 WSMs and the lovely Sister Goddesses who INspire their presence in our HA HA Circle.

These six HA HA peeps have been INspiring me to LAUGH out LOUD for years. Week after week, they comprise the core group of HA HA yogis/yoginis who hold sacred space for us to LAUGH out LOUD.

A great big thank you to Sister Goddess Eve and WSM David, Sister Goddess Malka and WSM George, Sister Goddess Jean and WSM Yakov.

Sometimes, my brain gets in the way. That 20% that sits in my head tries to revolt from what it knows is good for us. Starts criticizing my baby steps or what I heard, if I even heard it, hello?

It took years to stop the brain. First, I had to catch it in ACTion. Ha ha ha. Then, I had to breathe through it and do no thing. ACTion rather than reACTion. Very good, very good, Yeah. Now, I listen. And when I can't listen no more, I laugh at myself. Ha ha ha.

I am preparing for bigger ACTions. Babies grow. ha ha ha. To prepare myself, I made an INner shift. I gave myself permission to trust ME, myself and I. To LAUGH at us and WE all ways.

LAUGHing at myself (thank you Sister Goddess Monika) - HA HA HA Kiss . Knowing that I can show up with a great-full attitude and the Universe responds in kind. And a great big thank you to Sister Goddess Jackie for INspiring this video. Ha ha ha.
