Turn up the Heat

2012 - 1rst Tuesday Morning HA HA Yogis and Yoginis

January starts with a Bang - temperatures dropped to 46 degrees this morning - woohoo. On this 3rd day of 2012. I get to put on a whole bunch of colorful layers to greet this beautiful day.

I get to test my comittment muscle to show up RAIN or SHINE or VERY COLD for FLORIDA weather. Ha ha ha. I show up and see who else is as courageous as me to get out of bed and meet in the park as the temperature rises slowly to 52. 10 yummy tribe peeps show up to laugh and play. Me and Noah that makes 12 - 12 Ha Ha happy and heeheealthy peeps ready to radiate our enerchi into the world. Woohoo.

We jog and shake and twist to stay warm - it is so invigorating - all this fresh crisp cool air - the Park is truly ours today - the trees swaying - the birds and the squirrels have come out to play.

Today - our Laughter Circle - we play with exercises that turn up the heat. Inside, of course. Heating our core up so we can remove some layers - help Mama Earth warm up.

Thank you SG Julie for HOT SAND HA HA - a tried and true favorite that had been put away in the summer closet. We jump and skip as we remember what it feels like to cross a hot sandy beach to get to the water. And we shake all the way from our thumbs to our wrists and elbows and deep into our bellies - ShaHAhakti ShaHAhake. Woohoo.

We do the Hokey Pokey and play a round of HA HA tag. We keep our bodies moving until the internal motor is cranking on its own - keeping us hot and happy. We shake hands and hug and bang like drums. And shake it all out again.

52 degrees - really? It's hot out here.

2011 - HaHAhappy New Year

Wow - as 2011 turns into 2012, I find it important to give thanks for all the OMazing things that HAhaHAppened this year. So many blessings of HAhaHAppiness and opportunities to share the HA HA chi.

5. HA HA Song - I created a HA HA song - a vibration of HA HA and peace - my video skills are improving too this year - woohoo

6. Presentations and Conferences 2011 - we were blessed to present Laughter Yoga to two special groups of Peeps this year - Florida Recreation and Parks Association (FRPA) and Employee Assistance Professional Association (EAPA) - one group heard about Camp Cho and another about Healing with Humor. We received Continuing Education Credits with both associations for Laughter Yoga as a healthy modality for stress relief.

7. Laughter Parties - an Art Performance - we had an opportunity to bring Laughter Parties as an Art Performance to the Wynwood Art Festival this year. Three days of interactive ART and HA HA as the best and brightest artists of 2011 came to play.

8. HA HA Flash Mobs - we bravely introduced HA HA Flash Mobs at the Wynwood Art Festival. A small but dedicated group of Pleasure Revolutionaries gathered to laugh and freeze and bring a little hahAhappiness to the World before we dispersed and disappeared. Check us out HERE.

9. San Diego Laughter Yoga Conference - went to meet my HA HA Peeps - Laughter Leaders from all over the World who create sacred space for others to laugh. So much fun. Woohoo.
